Greetings to all in Midwest,
I would like to take a moment to thank all of our board members past and present for their service to the Midwest region. It is also great to see new members taking part in the region weather it is show or working on committees or working at fund raisers. We need our members ideas for more way’s to grow the member- ship and the number of cattle we have in the Midwest, I welcome all your thoughts. As most of you may know by now I have been chosen to fill the secretary position at the last meeting. I would like to thank Glen for serving as president and Char for serving as secretary for the last few years, your time and leadership was greatly appreciated by many.
I would like to challenge each member to try and get at least 2 new members to join the MWPA. When you sell an animal you should ask the buyer if they would like to join our great organization. Money from memberships help this club run.
I am going to try and get information on the website like:
the by-laws, minutes form the last meeting, and am hoping to get the news letter on here also to help save some postage costs.
When you tattoo your calves make sure you use correct letter for the correct year:
2007 "T"
2008 "U"
2009 "W"
